Bringing Order To Professionals’ Financial Lives
Jeffrey Waters, CFP(R)
With a sophisticated approach to asset allocation, as well as extensive experience in, and knowledge of, capital markets, Jeff is ideally positioned to become a trusted advisor to a select group of high net worth individuals. He can help you make sound financial decisions, keep you in financial control and, most importantly, eliminate your financial “chaos.”
After retiring from Wall Street in 2003, Jeff realized there were probably many people who had been in his situation and felt “out of control about money,” but didn’t have the time to devote to getting their financial house in order.
In 2004, Jeff completed the Intensive Course in Financial Planning at New York University (NYU) and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant in December 2005. From 2005-2007 Jeff was a Lecturer at NYU, where he taught the Investment Planning to candidates enrolled in the CFP(R) Program.
Jeff has a BA in Economics from Yale University and an MBA degree from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Jeff is a member of the Board of Education for the Millburn Township Public School System. He was formerly Vice President and Chairman of the Finance Committee.
Jeff sits on the Board of Let's Get Ready, a groundbreaking non-profit organization that expands college access for low-income high school students by providing free SAT preparation and college admissions counseling. Jeff serves on the Development Committee.
Jeff also serves on the Advisory Council to the Business School Fund at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He was honored with the Award of Merit, given to alumni for meritorious service to the school.
Jeff previously sat on the Board of Trustees of the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum and Bird Sanctuary, a non-profit nature conservancy and educational institution, where he was Chairman of the Finance Committee and oversaw the Endowment.
A Wall Street professional for 16 years, Jeff Waters, Managing Member of OFC Financial Planning, LLC, spent the first 10 years of his career at Salomon Smith Barney advising some of the world’s most sophisticated investors.
